Pirates look for future stars (5 Jan 2015)
Rookie tasters Sunday 11 January

We're holding taster sessions for our adult team on Sunday from 1-3pm at Hamilton Palace sports ground's indoor 3g pitch. No experience is needed, just a good level of fitness, enthusiasm and a great attitude. Prospective players should be over 19.

Younger players interested in joining the Pirates are also welcome. Youth and Junior training also starts back on Sunday 11 January. Junior training for players aged 14-16 is indoors at Hamilton Palace Sports Ground from 10am-12pm, while youth training for players aged 14-16 is on for East Kilbride Pirates youth at 10am-12pm outdoors at Duncanrig High School, or for Hamilton Buccaneers from 4pm-6pm indoors at Hamilton Palace Grounds. No experience is needed. All our coaches are qualified, insured and checked through Disclosure Scotland's PVG scheme, and kit is provided on loan.

Pirates to host US college team in May (7 Nov 2014)
Hanover Panthers come to Hamilton

The East Kilbride Pirates are delighted to announce a friendly fixture against NCAA Div III team Hanover Panthers next May.

The Panthers, from Hanover College in Indiana, are travelling to Scotland as an extension of a longer visit to Ireland and will take on the Pirates at their home ground of Hamilton Rugby Club on Saturday 16 May.

Iain Dick awarded Player of the Year (5 Oct 2014)
2014 Awards night

After another strong season in the Premier Division, over 80 coaches, players and family members from the East Kilbride Pirates gathered to celebrate with dinner and awards at Glasgow University Union.

The evening culminated with veteran running back and team captain Iain Dick being named as Player of the Year, and saw rookie defensive player Kenny McCulloch collect an impressive three awards.
