Senior team player of the week – Andrew Prentice

Andrew Prentice was one of the few bright spots on Sunday as the Pirates fell to their first regular season home loss in years.

Building on a strong outing against Lancashire, Prentice, a rookie, scored EK’s only points of the day in the first quarter.

Prentice is pictured here dragging a Tamworth defender  into the end zone after catching a pass with a different defender draped all over him.

His effort making the catch and getting into the end zone is something that the Pirates hope more players display this week against a tough opponent in Coventry.
