JUNIOR AND YOUTH TEAMS
The East Kilbride Pirates have two youth teams in the South Lanarkshire area for players aged 14-16 years old, and one junior for those aged 16-18. All teams are run by our club's committee and are coached by a mix of our senior coaching staff, senior players, former players and volunteers.
Start-up funding for East Kilbride Pirates youth and Hamilton Buccaneerss has been as a direct result of support from Awards for All Scotland.
Players at the 14-16 age group take part in a 5-a-side contact version of the game and will compete in a mix of friendlies and league tournaments in locations across Scotland including Edinburgh, Wishaw, Inverness and Greenock. Players aged 16-19 take part in the full 11 man contact version of the game.
We supply all necessary playing equipment and team uniform, all you need is suitable practice clothing and footwear and a gumshield.

East Kilbride Pirates Junior (16-19)
The East Kilbride Pirates Junior team is currently recruiting and will be looking to compete in the 2014 season. Practice is every Sunday morning from 11am-1pm at Duncanrig High School in East Kilbride.

East Kilbride Pirates Youth (14-16)
The East Kilbride Pirates Youth team was formed in 2010, and since then has successfully competed in the Scottish Conference of the British American Football Association's National League. The team trains on Sundays at Duncanrig High School.

Hamilton Buccaneers Youth (14-16)
The Hamilton Buccaneers were formed in 2012 and competed successfully in the Scottish Conference of the British American Football Association's National League for the first time in 2013. The team practices in Hamilton Palace grounds on Sundays from 4pm - 6pm.
