Bio
Stuart was the only one of the seniors who answered confidently as to how his teammates would describe him. The PG version included the phrases ‘legitimate baller’ and ‘king of banter’.
Stuart is indeed the king of banter on the team and has entertained his teammates on many a long bus journey. He considers his teammates to be family and loves the closeness of the team and the spirit that this years Pirates have.
He hopes to play for the senior team but he will always have a special place in his heart for the first victory over the Wildcats in the opening game of the season.
What Junior Head Coach Matthew Davies says
“Stuart Gilmour is the spiritual leader of the Juniors. While he’s missed time this year due to various injuries, he’s continued to be a huge part of what we do, as a leader and a motivator of his peers. My hope is that he can stay healthy and injury free in the years that come and be a huge contributor, both on the Offensive Line and off the field, for the Pirates seniors long into the future.
It’ll certainly be a much different team next year without him in it and he will be missed by all of us.”
