Highland U16 tournament – Sat 15 April

Venue – Bught Park Sports pitches, Inverness, IV3 5SW
Start time – 12pm

Team Travel
We will be providing a team bus to Inverness. Once we confirm the number of players and coaches travelling, the remaining seats are open to parents/family members.

Our travel provider is Stuart’s of Carluke and this will be a 49 or 53 seater coach with a toilet on board. We will be asking you to confirm if players need a bus space and which stop they’re getting on at, or if they’re making their own way with parents / guardians in the team Facebook group.

Timings
6.00am – Bus pick up 1 – Westwood Shops, Redcliffe Dr, East Kilbride, G75 8YQ
6.20am – Bus pick up 2 – Hamilton Palace Sports Ground car park
10.30am – arrive Inverness – get ready
11.00am – warm ups
12.00pm – games begin
3.00-3.30pm – change / depart Inverness
7.30pm – approx. arrival time Hamilton
7.50am – approx. arrival time East Kilbride

If not accompanied by a parent or guardian on the trip, players will be asked to notify a parent/guardian on the way back with an update on arrival timings. Parents / guardians should be waiting to collect their player.

Covid-19 precautions
There are no longer any restrictions in place, however, we asked that noone should attend the tournament, or travel by bus if they are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19.

Changing
Changing facilities, including female only changing, are available at the venue.

Uniform
A playing jersey will be handed out at the tournament. This must be handed in at the end of the tournament. Players should wear red, black, white or grey accessories where possible and knee high black team socks.

Please bring….
Any food / snacks / drinks required (a stop will be made during the drive up and down, and there is a local corner shop near the pitch in Inverness but please be aware limited services are available on the route so best to be prepared)
Any mediciations that might be required – ie antihistimes or prescribed medications such as inhaler
