Having dusted themselves off after a shellacking from the Tamworth Phoenix, the Pirates are back in action against the Coventry Jets. The series sits at 4-4, with the Jets winning the four games between 2006 and 2008 (an era where they competed for and won national titles) and the Pirates winning all four games since.

Last year, East Kilbride won by 31 and 15 points over the two legs and will be looking for more of the same. Last weekend’s result should give Coventry renewed optimism of an upset, but having lost their opener by 18 points to the Sheffield Predators, it’ll take a big step up for the visitors to take the spoils.
